How can Zolax SR 1.5 mg tablet be used?
For the treatment of anxiety: Initially, a patient has to consume 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg of Alprazolam orally three times in a day. The dose may be enhanced every 3 to 4 days if required and may enhance up to a maximum daily dose of 4 mg in divided doses.
For the treatment of panic disorder: Initially, a patient has to consume 0.5 mg to 1 mg of Alprazolam in a day and dose may be increased by 1 mg every 3 to 4 weeks. After that, a patient can switch to the maintenance dose of Alprazolam is 1 to 10 mg once a day.
Who should not use Zolax SR 1.5 mg tablet?
A patient who is suffering from certain medical conditions such as coma, shock, myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, acute alcohol poisoning, acute respiratory failure, severe depressive conditions should not use this medicine. It should not be used by a pregnant lady and lactating mother.
